Dear my edubloggers/readers =]
It is only recently that I realised that I live in such a technological based world. I lost my phone the other weekend at work and didn’t get it back until after a week. I realised in that period of time that all my contacts with the outside world was through my phone and perhaps the WORLD WIDE WEB! Thus when reading the article Teachers on learning curve by Kirsten Lees I could truely empathise with the teachers that this world is indeed run by humans who have created such a technology based way of living.
After reading the article I have to agree the curve of using technology has increased dramatically. From talking about buying the first computer in the classroom… to now…. how to manage a class -to use a computer! sounds all pretty overwhelming! Within the last decade technology has become so much more advance and is challenging not only students to keep up but also teachers. The rate of technology development is just uncomprehensible! This curve would mean some would feel the pressure and some would be left behind!
I sure hope in a decades time I don’t feel left behind in this technological world!
Poice!
Miss Lee
